The countdown to Mars Day 25 is on!

Join us for this exciting free virtual event adventure for everyone, presented by the UK Space Education Office (ESERO-UK) at STEM Learning and in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the UK Space Agency.

Once again Mars Day has an out-of-this-world programme of live link-ups, activities and resources, talks and live Q&A with space stars as well as career discussions with hidden heroes of the UK space industry.

Beam in on Tuesday 4th March and explore Mars, the International Space Station (ISS) - and beyond. Our last mission to Mars (Day) in 2024 had an audience of over 200,000!

Explore a sky full of guest speakers and stars in our programme across the day. Land on your favourite Mars and ISS topics, book for a session or two, take part in Mars Hour activities, or join in for the whole day. Embark on a solo mission, join in with friends, family or your class at school.

A few highlights for Mars Day 2025 include:

  • Speakers from the UK Space Agency and ESA with The International Space Station (ISS) as our 'guest of the year'!
  • Tim Peake beaming in during Mars Hour, giving you a chance to ask about his mission to the ISS
  • Going behind-the-scenes with the BBC Science team from the hit series Solar System with Professor Brian Cox

Register in advance and plan your own Mars (Day) mission.
