Safeguarding Young People

Altus Education Partnership takes the safeguarding of children and young people very seriously.  We all have a duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and we are committed to this.

Each Activity Provider who is listed on REACH will have their own safeguarding policies and procedures.  Altus Education Partnership has carried out some checks to ensure Activity Provider staff are DBS checked and they too are committed to safeguarding.  We also reserve the right to refuse any request from Activity Providers we feel does not meet the expected standards.

Having stated this, it must remain the parent/carers responsibility to also check that the club or activity that your child/young person attends is safe, secure and being delivered by competent staff.

We want children and young people to have positive and enjoyable experiences of their enrichment activity but in a safe and child centred environment.

Altus Education Partnership works with Rochdale Borough Council's LADO and promotes the 'Safe After School' campaign.
