Dream Big Sports - INSPIRE Coaching Academy

Dream Big Sports is an award winning not for profit physical education, physical activity and school sport provider operating across the Greater Manchester region. We provide sport and educational opportunities, delivered with a social purpose.

Dream big sportsOur Coaching Academy takes our commitment to improving the physical education, physical activity and sport landscape locally to a whole new level.

The Coaching Academy is an innovative 12 week programme that combines theory and practical based delivery with the view of providing solid foundations for its participants to gain future employment within the sector.

The programmes are delivered on Academy, School or College premises and are usually delivered across the 12 weeks for 1.5hours.

Built on three core pillars, each programme is tailored to suit the needs of the participants and the next steps in their career or educational journey. Whether it’s an end goal of becoming a Primary School PE Coach, simply facilitate grassroots sports sessions within their local communities, or a long term career within sports business, the Coaching Academy programme will provide each participant the knowledge, resources and qualifications to get ahead of their peers across the industry.

The three pillars are based on the participants being in Secondary School, Further Education or aged 18-25 and seeking a route back into employment.

Each workshop has been designed by our team to ensure participants can access the information, are continuously engaged and enjoy their time on the programme.

Students on the programme will achieve the 'I Can Lead' qualification.
