Young Enterprise (Activity for Academies & Schools)

Young Enterprise wants to empower young people to discover, develop and celebrate their skills and potential.  The best way to learn essential life skills, like money management and entrepreneurship is by putting them into practice.

There are a number of programmes that Academies and Schools can get involved with:

Inspiring Futures Project, which IMD 1-4 Schools can access the following:

1 x Company Programme (or SEND version Team Programme)

• Fully funded: so of no cost to school (usually £530 per group)
• Student numbers: 15 - 30 per group
• Can be run from 12 weeks to a full an academic year
• Year 10 or 12 ideally, though can be run with yr 9’s

• 1 x Learn to Earn OR Launchpad

• Part funded: 50% funded with a 50% contribution required from school
• Cost is £15 per student
• Student numbers: small groups to a full year group
• Any year group

Full access to our Learning Zone Platform (3 separate student led individual courses)

• Courses are designed to support young people to develop the vital skills they need to get into employment, earn and look after their money.
• Suitable for learners aged 13-19
• Features: Up to date careers guidance & financial information & case studies on real-life employment experiences
• Individual logins for learners, allowing them to save their progress and revisit their answers
• Interactive video scenarios, activities and quizzes
• Fully trackable progress & personalised certificates upon completion
• Student numbers: up to 300 per year group
