STEM Learning - ESA Astro Pi
Run your code on the ISS with ESA Astro Pi! Astro Pi gives primary and secondary school pupils the chance to write computer programs that run on Raspberry Pi computers onboard the International Space Station!
Mission Zero is suitable for primary pupils and is open from 16 September 2024 to 24 March 2025. The mission takes under an hour and pupils will code a flora and fauna image for the ISS astronauts!
Mission Space Lab is suitable for secondary pupils and is open from 16 September 2024 to 24 February 2025. In this mission, students will use their coding to calculate the velocity of the ISS!

Resources
Astro Pi coding is now performed using an online emulator rather than an physical Astro Pi kit. The online emulator is available from the ESA AstroPi website.
There are resources available should teachers and teams wish to use a physical Raspberry Pi to try out their code before submitting via the ESA AstroPi website.
