Future Innovators Challenge

Launched on 10th October 2024, we're delighted to share this exciting opportunity for Greater Manchester secondary schools, the Future Innovators Challenge, supported by Amazon - part of Manchester Digital's Skills Festival 2025. 

Together with Amazon and TeenTech, we’re empowering Year 8 and 9 students from Greater Manchester to unleash their creativity and build tech solutions that make a real difference. From tackling environmental challenges to improving online safety, we can’t wait to see how these future innovators will use technology to shape a better world. 

Future Innovators Day will host the challenge finalists on 10th February 2025 at Amazon Manchester. We want to encourage young people to think big and innovate, to shape their digital future. 

The Future Innovators Challenge focuses on developing technical skills, professional competencies and career visibility for young people in Greater Manchester, aligning with the Mayor of Greater Manchester's #MBacc ambition to create the UK's first integrated technical education system, with greater equity and visibility for all young people.

Attached is an overview for schools and collateral to share. 

In particular we're keen to sign up to attend (or receive the recording) of our virtual information session next Tuesday (15th October) - focusing on the challenge and innovation tips. We'll be joined by guests from industry. 

This is completely free to academies and schools with lunch provided.  Travel would need to be arranged by the academy/school.
