Sustainability and Sport Careers Expo is back! The UK’s largest Sustainability and Sport Careers Expo for schools comes to the iconic Etihad Stadium on Thursday 8th May 2025. The event will run from 09:30-16:00.
Hosted by CGI and Love of the Game, Sustainability & Sport Careers Expo will build on the success of the 2022, 2023 & 2024 London events, which brought together major employers and learning providers from across the green sector to showcase careers and pathways to secondary school students. Students will have the opportunity to explore real-life examples from innovative companies and researchers operating in the sectors.
The event is open to secondary and college students. There will be a focus on encouraging students into green careers, to respond to a growing demand for skills in renewable energy, home energy efficiency, green finance and electric transport. This year’s event adds the focus of sport, encouraging students to consider careers in professional sport, events, and the medical and health and wellbeing fields.
This year’s event will be bigger and better, with an expected 1500 students attending and a wider range of stands, workshops, activities and panel discussions.
The event continues to go from strength to strength. We are delighted to have won Gold at the Corporate Engagement Awards 2024 for Best Environmental or Sustainable Programme.
